Chicken was found wandering the streets of Tembisa last year, and was brought to me as a rescue. We have been living in harmony until recently when I started cohabiting with my partner and his children. He is skittish, and quite scared of children. It is assumed that he was abused by children when he was living on the streets. He is easily frightened by children running or playing, and appears to take it as a sign of aggression leading him to growl, bark and sometimes chase them. He has never hurt anyone, but I would not take the risk to leave him around kids. He loves to be indoors, on the couch, cuddling with mom. He plays well with other dogs, and enjoys their company. He is very social and friendly.
